what is the most recent firmware for the samsung SW-240B

Postby apu95 on Sat Mar 08, 2003 12:20 pm

I've been looking over the firmwares for this drive, and there are multiple ones. R400, R401, etc etc. which one should i download?
oh, another question, will these firmwares work with the SW-240B thats shipped from Dell?

i have the SW-240B and the firmware is BD11 (thats what easy cd creator showed). if it helps, i looked on the top of the drive and it said SW-240B /DWR

thx,
Apu

I would ask around since it's a Dell OEM. I don't know if it can be flashed to a regular Samsung or not. Just make sure you back-up you original firmware at least before you do anything. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
