Screen Shot Software

Is there a type of screen shot software that is better than others? The only one I'm familiar with is SnagIt.

I use the Print Screen button on my key board...
then I paste it into VuePrint 7.5 Pro. www.hamrick.com and crop the edges from there.

HyperSnap DX 5 Pro is what I use, it can capture images form games/dvd/films/windows , anything really, you can set it to do many many things and it sits in the systray waiting for your key inputs.

I use AnalogX Capture. You can get that here:

alternately you could use ALT-PrntScrn, it takes an image of whatever window is currently highlighted. paste into phtoshop/painbrush, save as png/jpg. die gif.
