It said:

Prices are currently quoted at US$50 for CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drives, US$90 for slim-type CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drives, and US$140-150 for DVD+R/RW drives, but are expected to fall between US$5 and US$15 per unit each quarter this year.

Really look forward for that drive. But also wonder about the performance of that drive. It is as good as their cdrw drive? I think the price will drop to around $100 at the end of the year.

but if it follows lite-on's track history for drives, it should beat every dvd burner out there, except maybe the sony dru-500 series
