What are the better CD-RW media?

Postby dforion on Wed Mar 19, 2003 6:40 pm

I saw the excellent CDR media chart but can't find much info on CD-RW media especially 24x CD-RW media for LiteOn LTR 52246S.

Thanks!

Good luck finding some in the stores. I think the general consensus is to stay away from Memorex's 24x RW media and look for stuff manufactured by Mitsubishi (Verbatim, etc).

Use your favorite search/price engine and look for the following Verbatim part numbers:

10-pack: 94457
5-pack: 94458
1-pack: 94459

I've tested out 10 pieces of CDRW on the 52/24/52 LiteON.

I'll post the results [I know I keep saying that...]

So far what's been really good:
Kodak
Jensen
AOpen

some/most of Kodak CDRW is actually Mitsubishi Chem.
