HELP!!

Hello!

I've got a problem which is driving my mad!
I got a plextor 40/12/40A on my HP VL420 running win2000. I'm using Nero Burning Room v. 5.5.3.5. My problem is that Nero wont find my PlexWriter so I'm not able to burn anything... The strange part is that I find the Plextor in my computer properties and in the bios as well. Any sharp-eye who can tell me what's wrong here?!

Try upgrading to a newer version of Nero. The current version is 5.5.10.20. You can download it from Áhead's website: http://www.ahead.de/en/index.html#download.

not at all surprising.
according to Ahead's website
http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#recorder
the Plextor PlexWriter 40/12/40A PX-W4012TA is supported only from Nero 5.5.7.0 and up!
