I've seen the current version of the drive (f/w 0.25) Currently the DASH media support is flakey, and there are some other issues the need to focus on. I've tested a production ND-1300A and a SAMPLE DVR-106D and have to say so far the NEC is the better of the bunch, with Pioneer about 90% complete, and Accesstek still resolving problems.

AccuPC - Optorite DD0203

Now it is $199 on www.accupc.com, I ordered one today. They even offer a black limited edition of it for $10 more. ships for free thru FedEx Express Saver, Tax charged to california customers. This is the cheapest dual-format drive i have ever seen. sony drives are way too overpriced for me, i would buy $300+ drives if it is 8x in speed, maybe.
