how do i "flash" a drive

Hi I'm working all the time tryin to get my wierd problem fixed for my Plextor, see "Endless leadin with Plextor USB 2.0" thread below for details...Anyway, one of the things the company recommended was to "flash" the drive.

What is "flashing" a drive, and how do I do it?

I mean, is it like a Girls Gone Wild sorta thing? :wink:

flash = upgrade the firmware; so you have already done it! :lol:
