be used for the internal combo or is this update for the

Download and install the Firmware LiveUpdate Program (v. 0.6) to start using the automatic download service.

Why don't you try that and see what it says.

Ext doesn't mean its for an external drive.

I'm using that firmware on my drive and it works fine.
