Postby Thing on Mon Jun 23, 2003 7:59 pm

Hail, how are you gentlemen ?

Can anyone tell me where i can learn about volume labels and those options in the "iso" tab (nero burning rom of course!) for example... i am writing normal 600 cdr only with one file... and i want to give a label with spaces, nero wont let me do it, bue i know one day nero used "_" WICH I ALSO DON'T WANT, but well... best way to know what i can do is to learn, can anyone explain me about those file systems, and iso and joliet and whatever, please, thanks.

What you say?

I think that Nero Help explains this. I just use Underscores in place of spaces. ;)

I think that you can use spaces in the Joliet label, but not in the regular ISO label. In the Nero window to which you refer, you can uncheck "Use ISO text for Joliet" and use the drop-down list at the top of the window to select Jolet and ISO labels.

Joliet is an extension of ISO which allows long filenames. ISO only allows 8-character filenames with three-character extensions.
