what burn method should i use for a MP3 CD?

since my company decided to not allow MP3 or other audio files on our computers, i'm going to burn MP3 discs to take to work. i'm going to use CD-RW discs so i can add/delete files frequently. which method would you use?

1. use UDF and InCD

2. use Nero and multi-session

do you have any better suggestions? when doing a multi-session with a CD-RW, will deleted files actually be deleted? one advantage of using Nero is you can tell how much time is remaining as you add files.

Nero multisession will use a RW disc exactly the same way that it uses a CDR, nothing is actually deleted in terms of re-gaining space. I'd use the multisession.

If you have a DVD burner, be even better if the company has DVD ROM drives.

I can recommend not using a CD at all.

My company locked us down on a few computers (locked the case cover) so we can't even insert a floppy.

But the back of the computer is still accesible...

so I use my Digital Camera's 128mb storage card to transfer files to & from work via the USB ports.

Nobody ever suspects you're up to no good with the camera. Just take a few pictures of the co-wrokers & boss. Don't try and hide the camera...

Well I would recommend multi-session but in your case you would do better with InCD. To be honest with you I don't like much InCD but with multi-session you won't gain back the space used by the deleted mp3. Actually you could use some software like isobuster to recover the deleted file in a multi-session. Your other option is to make a new cd from scratch every time you would like to delete a mp3. thanks for the suggestions. i might just use nero and save the project. that way, if i add/delete files, i can just erase the cd and reburn.

my computer uses SMS to scan computers for the mp3 files. they are actually all legal - i just hate bringing a bunch of cds to work with me.

I agree with Spazmogen, almost. I take things back and forth with a USB flash/jump/pen/keychain drive. Works just like a floppy or CD-RW - put new songs on every night. I just bought a 128Mb'er for $30. That will hold plenty MP3s.

SMS = systems management server. they can use it to install software on computers, see what's installed, and even snoop around remotely.
