According to the information at Surround on CD, you create a WAV file with your DTS encoder that is burned like a regular audio CD.

For playback, the digital output at the back of the player is used to connect to the DTS decoder.

I understand that. maybe I need to explain a little more...

I have a folder with 13 different files with the EXTENSION of .dts. they were ripped off a DVD (it was a concert and I wanted the audio onto CD and retain the dts encoding). I need to re-encode them so I can use something like Nero or Easy CD Coaster to get them on a CD or get an app to burn them like you would a .wav file. I want to keep the dts. my rack DVD changer will play the CD. using the digital coax out to the amp, the amp will decode the dts.

I found this link, http://www.xs4all.nl/~appfan/DTSguide.htm , but I get an error during the conversion.

Did you try "Method 3" near the bottom of the page?

yes, that is the one which gives me the error. I cannot remember the error msg since it was a week or so ago when I tried it last. it would act as if it was working and about 1/2 through the first file the error occured.
