Digital Audio Extraction question

Postby hariskar on Wed Aug 20, 2003 9:08 am

I am planning to buy the the Plextor dvd-r PX-708A and the Plextor PX-116A DVD-ROM drive. I would like to be informed about Digital Audio Extraction. I can see in the PX-708A "High Quality Digital Audio Extraction", but not in the PX-116A infoniether in Plextor PX-54TA CD-ROM Drive. Does it mean that the PX-116A and the PX-54TA can't do Digital Audio Extraction? Thanks for help!

Yes the Plextor PX-116A does DAE. It is claimed to be a rebadged Pioneer DVD 120 drive.

See Plextor PX-116A Benchmarks & Infos Here for more information.
