I work in a bottled water factory for the federally mandated minimum wage. I am an inspector at the incoming dock for the 5 gallon dispenser bottles. Some bottles have been used for unauthorized purposes prior to their return. I am to identify those and pull them out for the precleaner machine.

My job title is "PI__ SNIFFER TRAINEE"

That's only during the show for the rubes. After the show I have my "all you can eat" feast, spitting out feathers as I gobble. :-? :x :D

I have heard of some poor unfortunates that work for chicken feed. In my prestige job I have advanced to working for chicken. 8) :D :P

If I had known about that fringe benefit, I might not have given up so easily the first time my application was denied. :( :-? Do you get to eat snakes as well?

Yes cfitz, snakes are a special treat. After you bite the heads off, just peel of the skin like a banana peel and choke it down. Mmmm---. Image

They're still a little wiggly when first eaten, probably because they don't know that they're dead. Once the stomach acids dissolve them, everything is quiet again. Image Sometimes they digest "a little faster" than intended. Image

If you're still interested, bring your own chicken to the next job interview and give them a demo of your head biting technique. Image

MonteLDS,

Here is some more help from Demotivators® in choosing your career field.

Good one, Inertia!

On a serious note, MonteLDS, choosing a career based on its earnings potential is not a wise way to plan your life. I'm not saying salary should not be considered at all, but it certainly shouldn't be a primary determinant.

You may have noticed, MonteLDS, that nobody has answered your original question.

You seem to still have some issues and dimished sensibility with respect to personal privacy boundaries. To be blunt, how much anyone earns is none of your business. 8)

Allow me the liberty, Inertia, to paraphrase your statement.

.......that nobody has answered your oringinal question in a serious vein.

Unless, of course, I really do sniff for __ss in returned water bottles.

Very wise advice. I know lots of teachers who love to teach, and if they considered salary, they would not be in teaching.

As to how much I make - I make okay money. I live as if I only make 1/3 the money that I earn and stuff the rest into retirement, investments, and a cash account in preparation to start my own business some day.
