LD Player with the Movies Give Away

Postby ChrisX on Sun Sep 07, 2003 7:26 pm

I have a Laser Disk Player with a box full of LD movies going out the door very soon.

I don't think anyone at CDRLabs will help me as I am in Australia so far away from the US. :( Anyway, if you have any in Sydney?
:)
Anyone in Sydney Australia, as I doubt anyone would want it to get a free delivery of a box full of LD movies with the LD player all absolutely free.

At least one LD title is no longer available worldwide such as Sharon Stone's Sliver. The oldest title is 10-11 years old and mostly they are as NTSC.

The pawnshops don't want them and any 2nd hand store doesn’t want them either. I am willingly want give to all away for free.

Otherwise they will go to charity.

You are very generous!!!
Normally I would be interested for nostalgia sake * and would pay for the shipping to the US.
However, I think a charity would be a more worthy recipient and could make better use of it...

* I still have a working Atari 400 PC that I won in a Rubik's cube contest ages ago when I was but a teenager.

Delivery to the US isn't worth it, not so much on the distance. They are so heavy, so expensive and difficult to ship and this includes the player.

This is why I am after someone locally.

Yes, I am sure it is expensive.
Anyway, you'll make some charity happy no doubt, if nobody takes it.

I checked ebay and there are actually quite a few auctions for LD players, some with bids (for high end models) as high as S$999.
