CloneCD leaves Europe:

And moves to Antigua:

Update expected soon!

Yes,CloneCD not only leaves Europe but all of it's development(if there was some) stops.I myself think that 4.2.0.2 was last version of CCD as Olli and his team had turnes attention to CloneDVD.I was just checking the www.elby.de site when I saw that CloneCD was no longer available for download.I had been hearing about the new copyright terms in Europe but did never think that they would be implemented this soon.
Anyways the program with the sheep was & (IMO) is the best program for copying copy protected CD's.
See ya guys later,

Just tell me guys,is SlySoft Inc. related to Elaborate Bytes AG?On it's page it is given that,

2003-09-11 SlySoft aquires CloneCD

2003-07-01 SlySoft acquires DVD Region Killer & AnyDVD

I am thinking that it is related to Elby.

See ya guys later,

My guess is that SlySoft merely is a front for Elby's (soon)-to-be-deemed-illegal activities.
This way they prevent getting into trouble with European laws (CloneCD) and getting sued by movie companies (like the 321studio's lawsuit).
I like this sollution, as long as developement goes on like it did before. The only thing I don't like about SlySoft's AnyDVD is that you have to purchase it in addition to CloneDVD. They could just offer it as an 'extra' to licensed CloneDVD users.
