Unable To Find ANY 99min CDRs !!!

Postby DeathStalker77 on Wed Sep 17, 2003 1:23 pm

Ok, EVERYPLACE I've tried is no longer carrying the 99min CDRs - I've been told that "the manufacturer" (probably Ritek) is no longer making them (I've e-mailed Ritek regarding this.

I have checked the following :

www.allmediaoutlet.com
www.blank-cd-cdr.com
www.beststore4u.com
www.compuexpetusa.com
www.globaldirectimports.com
www.inc-tech.com
www.qtccdr.com
www.shop4tech.com
www.atdiscount.com

This is REALLY ridiculous (especially since I just ordered from either AllMediaOutlet or Blank CD-CDR a month ago - can't recall which one).

Does anyone know of anyplace else in North America that sells them? (They appear to be readily available in Europe and Australia).

Thanks!

Ritek isn't making them anymore.

GlobalImports

Yeah, i listed GlobalImports - at $88USD it's just ridiculous. Have not been able to find anything out about StarMedia (otherwise i'd contact them directly).

Just such a waste to have to break a 99min vid onto 2-80min CDRs. Anyone know of any EXTREMELY cheap 74min CDRs?

I have yet to find ANYWHERE that beats BestBuy's $9.99 (and less!) for 80min 100 spindle packs (after MIRs). You'd think that there'd be some bulk retailer on the Net that would have them that cheap.

These guys here http://www.computerultra.com/cdrmedia.htm have Prodisc 90 min but no 99 min.
Then again you could always buy some from here http://www.abcd.com.au/products/drives_b.htm if you felt like waiting on them to arrive.
Or you could buy some Ritek 99min here http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dl ... &catref=C3 in the US
