I'm currently using Nero 5.5.10.54 and I'm been having problems. On my old hard drive I was using 5.5.10.20 or 5.5.10.42 which worked perfectly. Since I switched over to my new hard drive I updated to 5.5.10.50 and now 5.5.10.54. Last weekend I went to do a backup of my data (the first for this hard drive) and on my first CD-R after the burn the data verification failed with massive errors. I thought it was probably a bad disk so I left it. Today I went to work on the backup and yet again the samething happen. I'm wondering if it is something to do with the current version of Nero.
On my first CD-R burn here is the info:
VERIFYERR 13 File UDFCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 6501
Status summary
Total files=821, identical=501, different=319, inaccessible=0, skipped=1.
#343 Phase 81 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1655
Data verification failed
#344 Text 0 File Scsicmd.cpp, Line 406
SCSI not using temporary buffers
20 out of 20 temporary buffers allocated
and for each of the 319 files:
#341 VERIFYERR 1 File UDFCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 5989
Files are different
for the 2nd CD-R it was the same thing:
VERIFYERR 13 File UDFCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 6501
Status summary
Total files=714, identical=486, different=227, inaccessible=0, skipped=1.
#251 Phase 81 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1655
Data verification failed
#252 Text 0 File Scsicmd.cpp, Line 406
SCSI not using temporary buffers
20 out of 20 temporary buffers allocated
So I have no idea why is it doing this. I'm using the same type of CD-Rs as before, coping the same information. I was thinking of switching back to the older version of Nero - 5.5.10.20 or 5.5.10.42 and trying it again but I prefer if the current version can be fixed.
