interesting Kprobe results from Samsung 352 and LiteOn 52246

I ran a Kprobe test on these discs and was rather shocked. They are memorex high speed (I know junk had them sitting around) made by Infodisc. The LiteOn cant burn them at all with firmware 6s0f but with 6s0d sometimes they work. The Samsung burnt them fine with the new firmware T807. I would post pics if someone wouldnt mind telling me how :)

Samsung firmware T807
C1-max 70,total 50775,avg 13.199
c2-0

LiteOn 52246S firmware 6s0d
c1-max 236,total 249239,avg 63.679
c2 max 125,total 7989,avg 2.041

This just blows my mind.I have a few more sitting here that I am going to burn to make sure that 1 good disc didnt get into the batch (yeah right)

Wow! Someone finally found a drive that likes Infodisc. :o Pretty amazing. Maybe you can get all the unhappy Infodisc owners who don't have Samsung drives to send you their old discs, if they haven't already smashed them to pieces in disgust.

Very interesting; I don't think I've ever seen any drive burn a CD-RW better than a Lite-On before... :o

You can upload your pics for free at http://www.uploadit.org. You can then link to the pictures with the img code. For example, if you were linking to a picture located at http://www.uploadit.org/files/220903-CD.gif, you would type this code to display it:

Code: Select all
