fastest mp3 audio cd soft

Postby fernsx on Thu Nov 06, 2003 3:44 am

i'm currently using nero 5 and with all the audio filters (like normalize) deactivated, it takes about 8 minutes to burn 70 minutes. I burn at 24 or 32

and my amd k623 500 look like it's not fast enough to do it faster.

but maybe there is faster software i could try...

(if this question has been asked before just post the link please)

Your computer just isn't powerful enough to decode the MP3s any faster. However, you might be able to burn a little faster by burning at 12x. This is because your computer is probably powerful enough to burn from MP3s at 12x, and the drive won't have to pause constantly throughout the burn process.

Try Feurio!
In my K6-2 333, when decoding to hard disk Feurio does it at 8,5x and Nero at 4x, because it's badly designed to do this.
I haven't compared to do it to CD, probably Nero is not as bad at that.

Anyway, Feurio is much better program to do this task (it will check if the MP3 is corrupted before burning unlike Nero).
