I have a few of these WD 80GB (7200rpm 8MB cache) Special Edition hard drives for sale and I also have one 120GB (7200rpm 8MB cache) hard drive for sale as well. these drives are factory sealed and have not been opened.

as many people may know, these hard drives make great RAID setups and are known to be one of the fastest and quietest 7200rpm hard drives currently on the market today.

okay, I'm selling each hard drive for $60 which will include UPS ground shipping within the continental U.S. only. I will not ship outside the U.S. so please dont bother asking. I'm also not interested in any trades. the UPC code from the box has been carefully removed for promotional purposes only.

my Heatware reputation is like gold so I will need the payment before I will ship either one of the drives. payment can be made via non-credit card Paypal or by sending me a USPS money order.

send me an email at ozziegn1@comcast.net if you're interested in one of these drives.

What are the "promotional purposes only" anyway. Did the computer get promoted from capitan to general because the tag got cut off?

I had a dually WD Raptor setup and while it was a little bit faster than my regular IDE setup, it surely wasnt worth the extra cost.

also, not to mention the crazy amounts of heat that those SATA drives put out surely doesnt help matters any for people like myself who are using SFF cases.

Right.

I was just reacting to the obfuscation, the reluctance to call it what it is.
