Problems with Plextor PX-W5224TA and verbatim DLP (MC) media

I have tried to burn verbatim datalifeplus with plex px-w5224ta at 52x ( powerec enabled). burned ok, but later scanning plextools found 23 errors.

what is failing ? cd-r media or plextor ?

I know this is a wierd question, but where is it made? I have noticed that the CD-R's from Mexico are a lot better than the CD-R's from Taiwan.

first of all, congrats on your new drive flUxus_LT.

it might just be a bad burn (a fluke), try burning another one.
try scaning it with Nero CD Speed - ScanDisc and Quality Check. see what results they give.
