Ritek G05 8X for 48@ Meritline

What are the thoughts of this media. I know Ritek media isn't on the NEC ND 3500ag list. But will it burn @ 8x on the NEC?

Or is this an "avoid" at all costs.

I bought a cake box of these and have burned only 3 discs so far. I have an NEC 3500A and these discs do burn at 8X. I've run a surface scan on the discs after each burn and they all return a good rating of 100%. Not a single area of damaged or unreadable. Not sure if that means much but the discs play great in all my DVD players. I am just learning about this stuff so I plan on testing them some more with all the available tools within Nero. If anything negative comes back, I'll let you know. But so far...so good...
