Samsungs site says the drive supports Mt. Rainier.

CDRLabs says it does not.

That's an old review (from August of last year), so it might well be that Samsung has since updated the firmware on the SM-332B to support Mt. Rainier.

Nero InfoTool also reported that my old LG 31/10/40/16 and new LG 48/24/48/16 supports Mt. Rainier when in fact I know they do not.

I would lean towards what Cfitz said about Samsung probably updating the firmware to support it.
