So a friend of mine, who will quite obviously be un-named, sent me the following:

So, I was installing Windows XP on a computer that previously had no OS (formatted HD)

M$'s registration system doesn't let you install it on multiple computers.

So I had another reg. key, but it wouldn't let me enter it, saying it was invalid, even though I entered it exactly as it was written.

I called them and told them this, and the guy on the phone didn't argue and gave me a confirmation key.

It was all bullshit, I had no other reg. key, I just wanted to use the same copy of XP on multiple PCs.

I could've just hacked it somehow, but it was funner to have them hand me the key to ripping them off.

(It's funny because it's MS)
