DOS based Firmware updater for Teac 516-EB?
Posted: Sun Mar 30, 2003 6:35 pmI have an old Teac W516EB writer. There is a new firmware update available for this drive which I would like to install. Teac (only) provides a Windows based firmware installer. Unfortunately my writer is attached to an NT4 system and the firmware installer does not support NT (or Win95). They (Teac) do provide the bin file in the install package. Does anyone know of a DOS based installer available that would work for this drive (from Teac or generic)?
