Questions about the LG GCE 8520B

Can anyone confirm if this drive can backup SD 2.8x and Securom 4.8x discs?

Also, which burning software(s) is the best for backing up these types of discs?

I can´t confirm, but try alcohol 120% or Clonecd. Alcohol comes with profiles for safedisc1 and 2, and it has a profile for securom 4.x.
