Sony CD-RW CRX215E1 Help !
Posted: Tue Apr 08, 2003 6:42 pmI've Recently Installed a Sony CD-RW CRX215E1 ide drive on a win98se machine and installed ezcd platinum , it will read music / data cd's but upon trying to record with blank cd already in drive it pops open the error message "insert blank media"
( ive tried 3 different brands of brand new blanks) , after I click the OK button it records , upon finalizing cd I try to play it back and no audio
( i tried both playing in cd player and pc cdrom drive ) , the tracks play time wise in a cd player and show up as .cda files under windows explorer.
Ive updated all the updated for windows,roxio,directx, and everything else i can think of and im still clueless .
Should i flash the firmware and try again ?
Could it possibly be media compatability issue ?
has anybody else had this type problem ?
