Thanks for all the previous help guys. I'm just going to save some money and get a new Dell or Gateway Pentium 4 with either a combo drive or a DVD+RW drive. Dell's and Gateway's have 48x24x48x16x combo drives on them now and I think you can upgrade to a 4x DVD+RW on a Dell and a DVD-RW on a Gateway for $150 more. I think Gateway's only have DVD-RW. My system is 5 years old, I have Windows XP on it but I don't think it will run Windows Longhorn when that comes out. Thanks again for all of the help. It might be awhile before I post again. Later, Craiger.

craiger, I think that is a very smart decision.

When you have some money saved up, I recommend checking websites like gotapex.com. They usually have deals on Dell systems listed on their website.

I'll save for a Dell. They have 4x DVD+RW drives and those are the most compatible with all DVD players right? I also like the fact that you can get new Dell's without the floppy drive. You can on the Gateway's also but I save for a Dell. Hopefully buy the time I can get a Dell. I won't remember "Dude You're Getting A Dell." I like Dell's I just don't like that phrase. My friend has a Dell Pentium 4 and he likes it.

We buy Dell's at work and I really like them.

Who knows.. by the time you're ready to buy, they might come with Dual DVD drives.

I like this Dell:
