USB-IDE driver - External CD-RW drive installation error

I have the CenDyne 52x External USB CD/RW drive and upon installing, an on-screen prompt asks for the location of the USB-IDE drivers. I have tried the Nero CD, the Windows OS CD, and a driver download from Lite-ON with no success. Here are the specs: the drive is a Lite-On, the OS is Windows 98se, and I am running on a USB 1.1 bus for the moment until I get a 2.0 card. Thanks for any help.

Thank you for those links. Unfortunately, these drivers are not solving my issue.

Have you installed Nero Burning Rom and restarted yet?

I'm pretty sure its on the Nero CD. Check the directories, there is probably one called USB or something on it.

Whenever I install my external Verbatim 52/24/52 burner (which is exactly the same as your Cendyne) I first install Nero, then restart, then plug in the burner, then restart and it works.
