If I'm not mistaken, the dark blue ink is called AZO and is one of the best, thus more expensive, types of ink. Look for AZO on the label...

the best is Verbatim DataLifePlus made with the (older) Metal Azo.
this is probably media up to 16x (maybe even 20x ???) so may be hard to find :( (the newer media is made with Super Azo which isn't as dark as the Metal Azo and so doesn't look quite as good).

T@2 is an interesting but fairly useless feature, IMO you should be more concerned with the quality of the burn and longevity of the media

I think this has been covered before in this forum. Take a look at http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=8839&highlight=super+azo

I especially liked the explanation provided by "cfitz"

Yeah I had the same problem....

As far as I know (read it here: http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic. ... 3319#53319) the Verbatim Vinyl disks also use the Metal Azo dye. I don't use them myself and can't offer any info on availability or pricing.
