I have a LG gce-8400b OEM version from dell, it refuses to overburn, although nero said it support overburn. I follow the instruction in setting the preference so that it will do disc at once overburn, but it stopped immidately before the real burn process and asked for a larger cdr. I even trick Wincdr by build a 703M iso, Wincdr burn it until 99%(702M?) and stopped with a error. Is the OEM version of GCE-8400b different from the retail version, can it do overburn. My system is P4 with xp.

Make sure you are not using the wizard in Nero or it won't work.

Upgrade to the latest bios.

you've enabled overburning in the nero preferences, right?
