for some reason when I try to burn audio, the first couple of tracks will play fine in my cd player but when you get to the last couple of songs, it starts to almost like skip or sound kinda scratchy or static-ish. I use Nero Express but no errors come up when burning or anything? I'm the guy with the Artec WSM-52X. Tahnx again for helping me out with the other prob. Does anybody know why I get this audio thing now? It's not the cd player cause I have another laptop and I tried burning the same stuff on my laptop and it worked just fine. It's just that my laptop is only an 8X and my dektop is 52X so I'd prefer 52X :D

Try writing at a slower speed with your Artec. If that still doesn't work, try some other media.

What media are you using, Earthlink? I would recommend trying some Fuji media, if you haven't already tried it. Also, try running the "CD Quality Check" function in Nero CDSpeed on some of the problematic CDs.
