What OS are you using? If you're running Windows 9x or newer, you don't need a driver.

Windows 2000 Pro.

it is recognized as CD-Rom, but not CD-RW.
So, I can read the CD's, but I can't make copies, backup's.

Note: The problem is not with the software, but with the drive.[/img]

Roxio, Nero, CloneCD, EasyCD-creator... nothing... none of them works
But I would be very happy if the direct cd worked. I only need the direct cd.
Drag and drop files into a rw
I have the software instaled.

note:

when I configure the direct cd, I see that the unit CD-R/CD-RW it is not compatible.

Therefore, the driver is not installed.

According to Roxio's website, it is supported by v4.05 of EasyCD and DirectCD.

It's odd that it doesn't work with CloneCD though. It works with everything. I have a feeling that there is something else wrong here.

> According to Roxio's website, it i supported by v4.05 of EasyCD and DirectCD

In agreement with mine CD-RW, it refuses to work if I don't install in simultaneous DirectCD and the EasyCd creator.
I use DirectCD for " drag and drop " and Nero for copies of Cd. Therefore if I remove the EasyCD creator, the CD-RW it is not recognized.
Now I started to have another problem. Yesterday I had 8 screen shots, and today I already had one.

I love the maker of the software. :-?

It seems that I will have to do a format c:. It is impossible to work now !

P.S.: Thanked to who tried to help me and my excuses for my bad English.

This is the ninth attempt to write this post. :x

Hi natinha,

You can have Nero and Easy CD Creator installed at the same time, just make sure that you don't have both InCD and DirectCD installed.

On one of my computers, I currently have Nero, Easy CD Creator, and DirectCD installed, and all of those programs work properly.
