Hi,

i am using the samsung 352 b combo at the moment and
it has been fine.
i have now learned that lg have released the lg gcc-4520b
combo, both are 52x speed writers.
could anybody tell me if there is any difference in the build +
operating quality i.e performance between the two .
the difference i could see is the samsung has a 8mb buffer
the lg has a 2mb buffer, i don,t know if one out performs the
other .
i have had no problems with the samsung it has had a good
review,
i would change to the lg combo if it performs better.
has anybody tried both combo,s or ideas.
dell.

I honestly don't think the LG performs much better than the Samsung, at least not enough to warrant buying another drive. Although, most folks here own more than one burner, so who am I to stop people from buying. :D

If you are on a budget though, just stick with the Samsung since it has treated you well thus far.
