I installed the new bios, for my k7sem 3.0c (SIS730S) (which has udma4 (ata100)) and both my harddrives are ata133 maxtors, and the cd-rom is a ata66 cd-burner, and i did every troubleshooting methods you mentioned (deleting them, changin them to pio then restarting, finding drivers, editing the regs) but i can't seem to get them any higher than Multi-Word Dma 2 for all 3 devices what should i do??

Welcome to CDRLabs, Spiike and Latzab! :D

Spiike: You might want to check in your BIOS and make sure that UDMA / Ultra ATA is set to "Auto" for all of the drives in your computer, like Latzab did above.

Are you using 80-conductor or 40-conductor IDE cables?

I have not seen any CD Burners that can run in Ultra66 mode, only Ultra33 mode. What burner do you have(manufacturer and model).
