I don't know if this one is a BTC, but someone I know bought a 32x12x40x Polaroid last year that was a re-badged BTC.

The drive is very cheap, costs 36€ here.

But I heard that BTC isn´t a good manufacturer :-?

You're welcome. BTC may be OK; I don't have much experience with their CD-RW drives, though.

I had a BTC CD 40x, not a good drive. But it would be interesting to know, is BTC now better than in the past

If they are, probably not by much. I never liked BTC, probably never will.
