Today we bring you a review of AOpen's newest CD-RW, the CRW5232. Featuring some of the fastest speeds currently available, the CRW5232 reads and writes at 52x and is the first drive from AOpen to rewrite at 32x. This budget priced drive also has features like Ricoh's JustLink and JustSpeed technologies as well as support for the Mt. Rainier format.

In this review we take a look at some of the features found on the CRW5232 and then put it up against some of the 52/32/52 CD-RW drives from companies like MSI, OptoRite and Lite-On. Does the CRW5232 have what it takes? Is it the best bang for your buck? You'll have to check out the review to find out.

Good review, Ian! :D

I was really impressed with how well that drive wrote various kinds of media in your test; the AOpen drives I've used weren't nearly as good.

Yes, I was surprised by that as well. I just wish they would have used P-CAV when rewriting.
