HI,
I am having Nero 5.5 version and its working ok with Normal CD Writer. i want to use it with SCSI yamaha writer. when i tryed to use it its asking for same patch files.. where can I get these files ? or a Patch to that i can use it for SCSI writer.

Nero should'nt ask you for any patches.
Nero 5.5 supports the SCSI Yamaha CRW-F1S since version 5.5.8.1c according to http://www.nero.com/en/632012038142166. ... HA&lang=en .
what is your version of Nero 5.5 ? if it's older than 5.5.8.1 this could be the problem.

it shouldn't matter to nero if your CD burner is a "normal" one (IDE) or it's a SCSI one.

try uninstalling Nero and reinstalling the latest version 5.5.10.54 from here: http://www.nero.com/en/631933457317970.html
