Hi,
dodecahedron, i know i havn't posted here for quite a while.
Anyway, I bought the Verbatim Data Life Pastel (TY) 48X.
I enjoy most of them (yep, quality does very a bit) seening such nice Kprobe scans.
I don't have much time to elaborate on each CD's burnt content, speed, color etc.
Most info can be extracted from the file title.
Sorry for the mixed info.

hi Harrier.
thanks for the info and pics.

yeah, seems there's a bit of variance.
some of those scans aren't so nice for TY.

i haven't done any systematic and extensive testing on this media.
the only little i have done is the next 2 scans.
both burned on my LTR-52327S.
Nero CDSpeed 4.01 data disc.

Get this: I have a 100 spindle of these pastels, and it seems the green ones (the second color, after yellow at the top) are behaving differently from the yellow ones!

Maybe I'm dreaming, but the yellow ones have been fine, and the couple of green ones I've burned (Plex Premium) have been reduced by PoweRec to 40x from 52x during the burn, which did NOT happen w/ the yellows! The green one I burned just now *can't* be scanned for C1/C2 errors with Plextools, it just "hangs", which means the disc is probably a *coaster*....

1. Hope not all the "greens" are like this
2. Wonder what the other colors are like...? :o
