My car and CDs

I recently purchased a new car (2006 Toyota Camry).
Car came with a CD player. Never before had a CD player.

Page 173 of the Owner's Manual shows a picture of a "compact disk
digital audio" and states:

"Use only compact discs marked as shown above. The following products
may not be playable on your compact disc player.

Copy-protected CD
CD-R (CD-Recordable)
CD-RW (CD-Re-writable)
CD-ROM"

Why would they make such a statement?
If one uses good quality media and records only audio tracks, what's the
problem?

ISO Buster listed all 12 tracks on an audio CD.
I created a copy with Roxio EMC 7 and was able to play the beginning of
each track in my car. Have not yet tried to play the whole critter in
the car.

They're probably just convering the butts. Most CD players sold today should play recordable media without a problem.

btw.. how do you like your Camry so far? They're good cars.
