Maxell 75-pack CD-Rs Made In Japan?

I just bought these for my Mom today. She's not really an audiophile, but will use these for data mostly. Since they're made in Japan, I thought they should be fine. Got them at Sam's Club. Anyone know about these or do you need more info?

It's been a while since I've seen a 75pk!

There's really only two options for the manufacturer, Maxell themselves, or Taiyo Yuden. Either way is unusual at this point, since Maxell hasn't sold either type under their consumer line for a while.

Either way though, the discs should be good.

Now that I'm actually looking at the container (unopened), the PN code is 034324/TY and they are CD-R music CD-Rs for audio recording up to 32X (80min, 700mb). The surface of the CD-R is yellowish-gold and the only code I can see on the inside ring without opening the package is GG000123.
