I've noticed that on certain discs, EAC will not allow me to copy the image and create a CUE sheet - why is that?

Normally, I put the disc in, retrieve the CD info from "freedb," then I select "Copy Image & Create CUE Sheet" and it "asks" me where I want to write the file.

But on certain discs, when I select "Copy Image & Create CUE Sheet," the screen just flashes once and that's it - nothing. It will allow me to "Copy Selected Tracks," but not "Copy Image."

The weird thing is that the discs that do this don't seem to be any different from the ones that don't - I had a two disc set where Disc 1 allowed me to do it and Disc 2 didn't!

Anyone know what's going on?

write down the name of the cds that its happening to, then type those titles into google

see if anyone else has had same problems on those exacts discs

that will tell you that there is recent copy protection on them
