Problems installing new CDRW
Posted: Wed Nov 20, 2002 2:19 amI was having trouble installing the drivers for my new Yamaha Cdrw 3200UXZ, I think I ended up causing more problems then anything. Basically after installing everything that came with it, I still couldn't get it to read any of my blank Cds, I tried 3 different brands but it played games fine. To make a long story short I ended up removing it from System -> Device Manager and now I've ended up completely removing the entire drive. Now it wont play any cd's, and doesnt show up on My Computer. I tried reinstalling everything, searching for the hardware from Control Panel,and reconnecting all the cables but still no luck, the computer just acts like it isnt there. Do you guys have any idea how I can get it to show up again?
