Sony CRX195E1 issues
Posted: Mon Nov 25, 2002 12:38 amI just bought this model, its a 40x burner OEM. I found that it can only burn at up to 24x, regardless of the software. Unfortunately i wasn't able to return it in time but the tech support at the place said others had the same problem regardless of what burning software they used. I suspect it has to do with the firmware... I know at the moment there is no updated firmware available for this model, but can anyone either
a) suggest a possible remedy to the problem
or
b) give me a link to the site where i would be able to get this firmware in the future, as the sony site seems to have nothing really (or i can't find it at least)
