Help!!!
I've been everywhere on the net including this site and Samsung's and I cannot find the driver anywhere. I recently upgraded to XP from 2000 and now Windows is using the default Microsoft driver. I need the specific one to get it to work.
Can anyone help?

what driver are you talking about?
CDRW drives don't need any drivers. you just install them in the computer and boot.

if you're having problems, give some more info about them so someone can help you out.

What do you mean by CD writer driver?

Ok, when i look in Device Manager it has the burner with an "!" beside. When i look at the properties it says "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
I cannot view the drive in Explorer either. Seems like i'm missing a Windows driver then. I looked for Atapi.sys and its there. I don't know what else I could be missing.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for everyone's help. Turns out that imapi.sys was missing from the system! Who knows, maybe a bad XP cd. Thanks again!
