I have lite-on ltr-48125w. the problem is i can't burn data to cd-rw at 2x or 4x. i have tried nero 5.5.9.9 or easy cd creator 5.02, winoncd 3.7. None of them work. after burning 1/3 of the way it stop. it said media error or something like it. but if i burn cd image bin/cue with FireBurner 2.1.7 to the same cd-rw it works fine. even after i updrade it to the latest firmware LTR-48125W-R48VS08.zip. it still gives the same error. am i the only one who has this problem?

Have you tried using different CD-RW disc or higher quality ones. Do the CD-RW disc you were using work on a different CD-RW drive?

I have tried the same cdrw disk with my old HP CD Writer Plus 8100i, and it works fine.

I have more than a 100's of these cdrw that i use for backup. it always work with hp drive, but it doesn't work Liteone.

I even tried Memorex 700mb/80min cdrw, and got to same error from Lite-on Ltr-48125W.
