Out of those 3, my choice would be the LG GCE-8481BB. However, I would recommend a Lite-On drive over those 3.

But LG is more popular in Brazil, if that is where deusinho is from. :) I would recommend the LG out of those three.

Deus é brasileiro. :)

Yeah, so? Lite-On is a Tawainese company and look how popular it is in America!

In Brazil, LG and Philips are two of the most distributed brands of CD burners. Apparently, some of that holds true for Portugal as well!

deusinho: I recommend LG because I own two LG burners and I love them! Philips burners are not that great. Therefore, out of the three brands you listed, I would rate them in the following order:

1. LG
2. ASUS
3. Philips

Tudo bem? Tudo bem. :)

Yeah, definitely the LG - and I know hoxlund will hate me for saying this, but I think the LG is a higher-quality piece of kit than the LiteOn. Make sure you get the latest firmware though -- the one supplied with the drive is picky and you'll have problems.

- ASUSTEK CRW4816K

May be they are absolutely the same?
