[b]LG-8320B [/b]32/10/40 CDRW - won't eject disks!
Posted: Fri Jan 24, 2003 2:01 pmI recently installed a LG-8320B drive into my PII-350 (Asus P2B M/B) machine running Win98SE and it's giving me fits.
The drive installed without a hitch and I have not had problems burning CD's ... but I often get a Blue Screen Of Death after loading a CD for playback and often can't get the drive to eject the CD!
I've downloaded several "Cd Eject" type utilities, but none of them worked.
I checked out LG's web site but found zero info regarding this problem.
Is there a firmware upgrade out there for this drive?
Or can someone suggest a CD/RW drive diagnostic app/utility which can help me identify which is going on?
