Hi there people
well i need your help a bit hope you all will help
well iam gonna bye this 48 24 48 writer so do i ned a high end pc for such a drive
well here is the config of my pc
Pentium 4 1.5ghz
256mb ram
40gb hdd 5400rpm
a cdrom
is this enough

yours is faster than my system with my 52x24x52x drive...

If you still have the chance, get a 7200 rpm hard drive instead. It is faster.

Your computer is more than enough for a 48x24x48 cd-rw drive. I would suggest getting a 7200 RPM drive though. It would make your system perform alittle faster, but you probably won't notice too much of a difference. However a faster hard drive won't lower the burning time that much though.

For all future post/threads, please use a more informative title. Only using "Help" doesn't explain what the problem or question is about and it only further discourages people from reading/answering your thread altogether.

i agree about the hard drive rotational speeds, also that drive along with the 52x would run on a 700MHz system, 64MB ram
