Anyone know of a way to turn off verfication after a data copy burn in Ver. 5? This step seems unecessary, and takes way too much time when I'm making lots of copies. TIA.

Are you using Disc Copier or a Data CD project? If it is a Data CD project, click File, CD Project Properties and uncheck "Automatically verify File System".

I just noticed that with Disc Copier, no verification is done. I have it happening with Data CD Project. So, I pretended to do a new project, went to uncheck the box you mentioned, and it was unchecked! What gives?

Settings for CD Project Properties:

File System - Joliet

Automatically import previous setting - Check this box just in case you ever record a multisession disc.

All other boxes unchecked.

Mode 1 - CDROM selected.

Hit the "Save as Default" box. This step should stop the file verification, which was probably set as the default at some point.
